Skills matrix

A skills matrix is a grid that records the skills of every team member against the skills a project or department needs. Each person is scored on a simple scale, from no knowledge to expert or trainer, so you can see who is qualified for what. It shows at a glance where the team is strong, where it is thin, and who would benefit from training.
